According to ASTRA, a FAB-250 bomb was discovered on May 3 in the area near the village of Krutoy Log. Residents did not need to be evacuated, and there were no casualties or damage. The ordnance was handed over to the military for disposal.
Earlier reports stated that on May 4, as a result of an accidental release of a FAB-500 in Belgorod, seven people were injured, including a child, and 30 houses and 10 cars were damaged. On the day of the explosion, the governor did not disclose its cause. Later, sources from ASTRA in the region’s emergency services confirmed that a Russian aerial bomb had fallen on the city.
Previously, ASTRA conducted its count of bombs dropped on the Belgorod region and other regions by Russian aircraft. For example, in March-April of this year alone, Russian Aerospace Forces dropped more than 20 bombs.
