Residents of the Serdobsky district of the Penza region heard explosions on the night of October 16-17. There have been no official comments from the local authorities so far. As ASTRA managed to find out, several jet drones attacked an ammunition depot in Serdobsk that night.

According to open data, there is an arsenal of missile and artillery weapons of the military unit 58661-90 (former military unit 83368). After the attack, a fire broke out on the territory of the arsenal, but after half an hour it was extinguished, ASTRA found out, which may mean that the ammunition did not catch fire. It is about 700 km from Serdobsk to the border with Ukraine.

In August, Zelensky showed a new Ukrainian hybrid long-range drone missile “Palyanitsa”. It took 1.5 years to create it. It is claimed that more than 20 military airfields of the Russian Federation, including Tambov, Sochi, Pskov, Engels and other cities, are located within the radius of this projectile.
