Analysis of the available data on Ukraine’s first attack on the V.S.Chernomyrdin Condensate Stabilization Plant in the Khanty‑Mansi Autonomous Okrug, which was also provided by Supernova+, made it possible to determine the location of the strike on the enterprise. The technological facility is located in the center of the industrial zone, OSINT expert of ASTRA found out. Following the UAV strike, which the local governor reported on the afternoon of October 16, a fire broke out at the facility, emitting thick black smoke.
Earlier, ASTRA reported that the enterprise is considered “the largest processing facility in the Khanty‑Mansi Autonomous Okrug-Yugra.” Among other things, it produces winter diesel fuel, jet engine fuel of the TS‑1 grade, unleaded gasoline of the AI‑95‑K5 and AI‑92‑K5 grades, and other related products.
The plant is located more than two thousand kilometers from the borders of Ukraine.
