The soldiers of the 57th regiment showed the basement of the mental hospital, in which they are kept without water, food or a toilet. According to the author, the room is located next to the 14th city hospital in Donetsk. A video asking those who are not indifferent to contact the military investigation department appeared online this week.
“Soldiers of the 57th regiment are kept here in unsanitary conditions. There is no water, no toilet, nothing at all. Once patients were hidden here, this is a psychiatric hospital, now they are gone — instead of them there are soldiers of the 57th regiment. Everything is locked up, under guard. There are wounded, shell-shocked people here, everyone are held there under the guise of the medical examination, and there is no way out of here. Everything is locked. This basement is called the “basement of death”. The way out of here, the price of a life is one and a half million rubles. And it’s not a fact that you will stay alive,” says the author of the video.
Judging by the maps, there is indeed a psychiatric clinic next to the 14th City Hospital – “City Psychiatric Hospital No. 1”. It is located in the same area — Petrovka — where ASTRA previously found the 17th illegal basement in the occupied territories of Ukraine, for the torture of the military, the abandoned Petrovsky mine in Donetsk, where the command of the 5th and 110th brigades staged a real “concentration camp”. It was there that, before his death, the military from the 5th Brigade tortured the American “military correspondent” Russell Bentley.
Earlier, ASTRA had already found 17 illegal “prisons” for the military in the occupied territories of Ukraine and one in the territory of the Russian Federation, where they keep the refuseniks and the wounded.
