ASTRA has learned even more names of those who disappeared without a trace in the Lugansk part of 40463, before they could arrive there.
In the video, men who have signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation are sent to the Luhansk unit 40463. This is the last footage of their relatives seeing them alive. It was filmed on May 2. According to relatives, only the author survived, a fighter with the call sign “Simon”.
After numerous appeals from relatives of fighters seconded to Lugansk military unit 40463, who told that military personnel disappear en masse without a trace just a few days after arrival, ASTRA received several more appeals.
This time we are talking about former prisoners who signed a contract in April 2024 in the colonies of the Volgograd region. Most of them were sent to the storming less than 2 weeks after they were sent. They went missing on the first mission:
— Alexander Skvortsov. He signed a contract at IK-24 on April 22. The last time I called my family was on May 3. The next day he was sent into a storm, and since May 8 he has been missing in the settlement of Disputable.
— Andrey Chigarkin. He signed a contract at IK-24 on April 22. On May 1, he informed his relatives that he was being sent on a combat mission. June 10 — the status of “missing” in the settlement of Disputable.
— Dmitry Shurupov. He signed a contract at IK-5 on April 22. He disappeared on May 8, the direction is the village of Berestovo.
— Georgy Mikhitaryan. Signed a contract at IK-24 on April 24. He stayed at the training ground for 9 days, after which he disappeared on a combat mission on June 11, the direction is the village of Berestovo.
— Victor Frolov. Signed a contract on April 10, arrived in Lugansk on April 30. He went missing on May 17.
— Vitaly Pavlishen. He signed the contract on April 24. April 29 was the last time he got in touch. On May 18, relatives were informed that he was missing.
— Alexey Levin. He went on a combat mission on March 20, 2024, disappeared on the same day.
According to Skvortsov’s mother, a total of 3 buses with prisoners were taken out of the Volgograd colonies — as she claims, one hundred and eight people. Of these, 102 were missing.
Representatives of the unit tell their relatives that search and evacuation are impossible, and the military enlistment office ignores the applications of relatives for months.
“So, my question is, why send them there if you know you can’t get them out? I don’t know how to say it… Please help me, it will be six months soon, but I do not know where my son’s body is and where my son is,” Viktor Frolov’s father addresses Putin and Bastrykin.
“The last time we talked was 174 days ago. When asked to provide documents and personal belongings, we hear in response that he took all personal belongings and documents with him. On July 15, a request was sent from the military enlistment office for an extract from the order, a certified copy of the contract and the circumstances of the disappearance and the fate of our fighter. Since that time, there has been no answer, no connection,” Georgy Mikhitaryan’s relatives say.
“Many people do not have documents or contracts. Part of it hides this. The fighters also continue to die, they are also sent to the assaults. Until now,” the relatives told ASTRA.
According to ASTRA, after the first publication about the Lugansk part of 40463, representatives of the RF IC immediately contacted the relatives.
