It happened on June 13 near the village of Novaya Pogoshch in the Bryansk region — 2 km from the border with Ukraine. As it became known to ASTRA, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the positions of the Russian military with five gliding bombs.

As a result, three servicemen were killed, two of them conscripts, and one contract. Seven more were injured, including six conscripts.
Before that, on June 10, in the Bryansk region, 300 meters from the border with Ukraine, 18-year-old conscript soldier Dmitry Kh. died and another soldier received multiple shrapnel wounds and a concussion.
Earlier it became known that at least 217 Russian conscripts died during the war with Ukraine. Most of them died in the Kursk and Belgorod regions.
In March of this year, Putin said conscripts are not involved in the war zone. At the same time, at the end of January, the State Duma said that at least 700 conscripts were sent to the front in the Kursk region during the invasion. In addition, conscripts and their parents complained en masse that they were forced under pressure to sign a contract with the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. Or, in some cases, documents were signed for someone by deception.
