Russian plane dropped aerial bomb on a monument to a military pilot in the Zaporizhia region


Another dropped aerial bomb was found on June 26 in the occupied territories, ASTRA found out. This time, it “came down unexpectedly” on the occupied village of Shevchenko in the Mikhailovsky district of the Zaporizhia region.

An aerial bomb, according to sources in the emergency services, fell in the park and damaged a monument to a soldier pilot with a child standing there. There were no casualties.

It was decided not to detonate the bomb on the spot, because it fell near residential buildings, it had to be removed.

Thus, the editorial board of ASTRA is aware of at least 95 aerial bombs (87 fabs and 7 UMPB) and three missiles, that fell from Russian aircraft in the Russian Federation and in the occupied territories of Ukraine since the beginning of 2025. In 2024, at least 165 FAB bombs fell on these territories.
