In the Kemerovo region, 40-year-old serviceman Mikhail Astapov committed harassment against his stepdaughter. According to ASTRA sources, he harassed a 14-year-old girl while in the car with her.

Astapov, a resident of the city of Mariinsk, had previously been convicted several times, including for murder, threats to kill, intentionally causing serious harm to health, theft and multiple traffic violations (5 times), most recently in 2023.

As ASTRA found out, Astapov signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in April 2024. In June of this year, he voluntarily left the unit.

The serviceman has been detained, however no criminal case has been opened.
