In the Ulyanovsk region, a veteran of the war with Ukraine is suspected of raping a girl, ASTRA found out. On September 13, Nikolai Gribanov, a 35-year-old resident of the Tsilninsky district, raped a 26-year-old local woman. After that, he took pictures of her and sent her nude photos to his wife.

A criminal case has been opened under articles on rape and violation of privacy.

As ASTRA found out, Gribanov was fired from the Russian Armed Forces less than a month ago, on September 1, 2025.

Before that, the hero of “SMO” was tried. In 2022, he stole a cell phone from a retired neighbor, and in 2015 he broke into the home of a disabled woman. In addition, his wife has repeatedly complained of death threats from him, follows from the leaked databases, which were reviewed by ASTRA.

Judging by the photos on social media, Gribanov served in military unit 14720. Also, a veteran of the war with Ukraine posted photos from the hospital — he probably left the army due to his injuries.
