Earlier, ASTRA found that the VNIIR-Progress defense enterprise was repeatedly attacked in the morning. Three people were injured in a nighttime rocket attack on the plant. The MTV Center shopping and entertainment center, located front to front of the attacked defense plant, was also damaged.

In the afternoon Ukrainian UAV flew into an apartment building on Stroiteley Street. Local authorities reported that 2 people were killed and 32 others were injured as a result of the strike. A regional emergency has been declared in the republic.

VNIIR-Progress manufactures satellite GNSS receivers and antennas for Glonass, GPS and Galileo systems of the Komet type modules, which are used in Shahed-type kamikaze drones, as well as in Iskander-M, Kalibr missiles and UMPK modules for aerial bombs.
