“For almost 3 years now, we have been wandering around other people’s apartments, since we have no other housing”

The video was recorded by former residents of a house at Moskovskaya Street, 16 in Mariupol. In an appeal to Putin, they stated that they had become homeless because their house had been demolished and they had not been provided with any housing in return.

“It was our only place to live. People lived in the house both in privatized apartments and in municipal ones. We were promised to rebuild our house and promised that we would be able to return to our apartments without any problems. But in fact, we became homeless,” said the residents of Mariupol.

Earlier, ASTRA reported how residents of the occupied city wrote a poem about the situation in Mariupol. ASTRA also wrote about how homeless residents of the city, who recorded appeals on the “direct line” with Putin, were issued warnings about extremist activities.
