Three houses on Yubileynaya, 19 and 21 street, as well as Cherokmanova, 25, which are located about two kilometers from JSC Energia, were damaged, according to an analysis of the footage studied by OSINT analyst of ASTRA. The plant could be a potential target of the attack.

Today, the governor of the Lipetsk region wrote that a woman was killed in the attack, and five other people were injured. One of the injured is in critical condition.

The plant specializes in the production of chemical power sources. The plant’s products are widely used in various sectors, including the defense industry, civil aviation, maritime transport and the energy sector. JSC Energia produces, among other things, batteries for UAVs, as well as batteries for aviation and the navy.

The company has already been the target of attacks: in May 2025 one of the workshops caught fire, 9 workers were injured. It was also reported about the attack on the plant in January 2026.
