Eyewitnesses posted a video from the beach of the village of Golubitskaya in the Temryuk district of the Krasnodar Territory, where fuel oil allegedly washed up.

“This morning we had an unpleasant surprise on the beach in Golubitskaya. Fuel oil washed ashore. We must pay tribute to the beach staff — they quickly started cleaning. The fuel oil was raked into piles, and part of the beach was temporarily fenced off with a signal tape,” the author’s text on the video says.

At the same time, the authorities recognized the pollution only in the area of the village of Bogudonia in Taganrog.

“Experts have selected samples of the substance for laboratory tests. I emphasize that it is too early to draw final conclusions. It is necessary to wait for the results of the examination — based on its results, further response measures will be determined,” Mayor Svetlana Kambulova said on July 15.

She also stressed that according to the results of the survey, no traces of petroleum products were found on the urban beaches of Taganrog.

On July 14, the Armed Forces of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems reported tjat in nine days, Ukrainian drones attacked 116 vessels in the Sea of Azov. On July 15, SBS Commander Robert Brovdi stated tjat 20 vessels in the Black Sea were also affected, including 17 tankers and 2 gas carriers.
