ASTRA journalists analyzed, geolocated and confirmed the authenticity of the video, which previously appeared, as claimed, from the site of today’s missile attack to Taganrog, Rostov region.

As ASTRA found out, the video was shot at the parking lot of the aircraft repair plant on Tsiolkovsky Street. The footage was shot from the territory of garages (screenshot 2 and 3), through the fence from which the parking lot of the plant is located. Earlier, the mayor of the city reported that a boiler room was damaged in the same street as a result of the attack.

Aviation repair plantб located in Taganrog, was at the site of the attack. Due to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the plant is under sanctions of all EU countries, the USA and Ukraine. There is also a 352 aircraft factory nearby. It is unknown whether the plants themselves are damaged. There is also no information about the victims yet.

Earlier, the acting governor of the Rostov region said that a missile attack was carried out on Taganrog, an industrial enterprise was damaged, 14 cars burned down in the parking lot. Local residents claimed that PJSC “Taganrog Aviation Scientific and Technical Complex named after G. M. Beriev” was attacked.
