The accident occurred the day before, on December 13, at around 11 p.m. on the Voronezh-Lugansk highway in the Kamensky district of the Voronezh region. The URAL with the Russian military made a head-on collision with a bus with other Russian military. The bus was carrying servicemen who were injured in the war with Ukraine. This was reported to ASTRA by sources in the emergency services of the region, as well as eyewitnesses of the accident.
As a result of the accident, both drivers, 1 wounded serviceman from the bus, and 2 servicemen from the URALS were killed. 46 Russian servicemen were injured. Information about the accident appeared without details in local publications, officials did not comment on the accident.
