Yesterday, police detained 21-year-old Yaroslav Slepov in Moscow metro at Savelovskaya station. The young man is registered with a psychiatrist and must be treated right now. He suffers from an organic emotionally unstable disorder after a head injury since 2021 — he has epilepsy, panic attacks and uncontrollable bouts of aggression.

As his father Alexey told ASTRA, after Yaroslav was detained, he was taken to the department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, from where he managed to call his family. According to him, the police did not explain anything and did not show any documents.
“While he was sitting there, he had two seizures. He started crashing the police department. We warned that he had a mental disorder. It took a long time to get an ambulance. As a result, they came and gave him pills,” Alexey said.
Even after that, the parents were not allowed to take their son home and were taken to a collection point on Ugreshskaya Street. At the entrance, the pills were taken away from the young man, he tried to resist, and as a result, he was beaten. Yaroslav has been there for the second day and has already passed a medical examination, where he was assigned category “B” (partially fit for service). The staff refuses to call an ambulance, they refuse him medical supplies.
According to Yaroslav’s family, there was a whole crowd of conscript parents on Ugreshskaya Street yesterday.
“Cars run there, like to an airport. People stood there, even with the court ruling that their child was not subject to conscription. One was brought in handcuffs. My son called, he says they keep bringing people in: there’s nowhere to sit anymore,” they said in a conversation with ASTRA.
Today, the relatives submitted an application to the military prosecutor’s office, but the review period is 30 days. The young man needs help now.
“God forbid, they will give him a weapon, what will he do there, who will be responsible for it? Nobody. The doctor told us that with this diagnosis they should not be drafted into the army at all,” says Yaroslav’s sister.
