As ASTRA found out, the military prisoners escaped from the Kuzminsky training ground in Rostov. Some of them are convicted of murder and robbery. APBs for the search for men have also appeared on the Web. It follows from them that the escape of ten armed soldiers took place on the morning of May 8. ASTRA contacted the wife of one of the escapees, Alexei S.
“Yes, I confirm [that he left], but I didn’t tell you what the reason was over the phone. And apparently, it’s significant that 10 people have left. I can say for my husband that he has never been a coward,” Ekaterina told ASTRA.

According to her, Alexey signed the contract 4 months ago and has already fought in Ukraine. However, he was then transferred to a training ground near Rostov. He was previously convicted of robbery.
It also follows from the guidelines that all the escapees are either convicted or under investigation. Among the articles are murders, thefts, robberies and drugs. Most of the former prisoners come from Tuva. The escape occurred near the village of Chkalovo.
Earlier, local media reported that the prisoners escaped a few days before they were supposed to be sent to the front. They were allegedly at the training ground after signing a contract with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. Four are caught, the rest are being searched.
