A participant in the military invasion of Russia in Ukraine, 32-year-old Roman Davydov came home to Abansky district for a month on leave due to injury. As it became known to ASTRA, during a domestic conflict, he began to threaten his wife Anna with “dismemberment” and tried to keep her at home by force when she tried to leave the apartment.

“At the moment, I managed to escape and hide, but he promises to find me soon, kill everyone and burn them,” Anna told ASTRA.

According to her, Davydov has so far failed to reach her only because his car broke down.

“The police say that as long as he hasn’t done anything, they can’t do anything either. He used to [behave inappropriately] too, but I never fought back, and he calmed down quickly. And now he’s decided to destroy me because I’ve started to stand up for myself,” Anna told ASTRA.
