As it became known to ASTRA, the investigative authorities have launched an investigation into 25-year-old serviceman Azat Fayzullin, who is suspected of raping a ninth-grader from the village of Sheverli in the Aurgazinsky district of the Bashkortostan republic.
According to ASTRA, the incident occurred on the night of April 11-12, 2025. The man, who was temporarily visiting the victim’s family, allegedly committed sexual assault against the schoolgirl. The girl, a ninth-grade student, lives with her mother, who contacted the police.
The suspect is also a native of the Aurgazinsky district, serving in military unit No. 31853, located in Molkino, Krasnodar Region. According to ASTRA sources, he had already been prosecuted before: in 2021 — under an article on sexual violence, in 2022 — under an article on theft.
Fayzullin is currently detained.
