This was stated by Sergey Novikov, head of the Office of the President of the Russian Federation for Public Projects.
“I’ll tell you a little secret. About 137,000 SMO fighters have already returned from the fronts of the special military operation. And we can see from what is happening in the regions that, yes, a lot of work is being done to provide support measures, but, as a rule, these are young people under the age of 35. And [we need to] help them retrain and find a new job, a decent job, because they are currently receiving substantial salaries in the special military operation zone. We need to help them return to their families without losing their income. This is a challenging task, but I am confident that Rosmolodezh can accomplish it,” TASS reported.
Earlier, it was reported that the government had retrained 2,500 war veterans as IT specialists in just 72 hours.
