As a result of attack on July, 1 three employees were killed by two UAVs at the Izhevsk Kupol plant, and 45 more were injured. According to ASTRA’s sources in the Ministry of Emergency Situations, two of the injured are in extremely serious condition, and 4 more are in serious condition. A total of 14 people were hospitalized with serious injuries.
In addition, two teenagers aged 15 and 17 are among the victims. They had internships at the company. One of them was sent to Moscow for treatment.
Among the dead were 35-year-old Grigory G. and 37-year-old Marina R., as well as 53-year-old S. Kuznetsova. All of them were working at the affected UAV production site. Their families were promised to receive one and a half million rubles each. Victims — from 300 to 600 thousand each.
According to sources, the alarm did not ring at the plant, people did not have time to hide. The drones struck within a few minutes. Only after the second strike, the workers were urgently evacuated to an air raid shelter, where they were held for several hours.

In the meantime, Izhevsk residents write on social networks that the authorities have been jamming the Internet for 2 weeks, preparing for UAV attacks, and in the end, apparently, they were not ready. There were no sirens, no alerts, no text messages from emergency services during the attack. People could not read alerts in Telegram due to the lack of mobile Internet, and accordingly, to find shelter — in one of the videos, dozens of passers-by run in panic in the parking lot of the park located next to the Kupol. After the strike, the residents of the city could not reach their loved ones. Some commentators write that they learned about the attack on the radio.

Earlier, ASTRA sources reported that as a result of the drone strike, 4 workshops were damaged, where metalworking, soldering of microchips and where they produce ready-made UAVs. The operation of the enterprise has been stopped.
