Earlier, ASTRA wrote about 28-year-old Pavel Krivulin, participant in the war in Ukraine, resident of the village of Sheregesh, who stabbed the dog to death. After the incident and the attention on social media, the man was detained by the police, but soon released. He himself recorded an apology video in which he explained that he wanted to take the life of a dog that, as he claimed, had the “plague”.

ASTRA contacted Karisha, a volunteer, who said that a participant in the war in Ukraine had killed a healthy dog, and the girl herself had sheltered the sick one after the police arrived.
“He wanted to kill the sick one, but the one who was killed was not ill. And they fed the second dog something, they thought he had enteritis, even though it tested negative for the virus, it had stomach problems, severe diarrhea, which caused maggots,” the girl said.
The dog is vomiting blood, but now he is undergoing treatment at the clinic thanks to Karisha.
“I apologize for posting such footage in stories. It’s just that you don’t know the whole story <…> The dog was sick, my grandmother asked me, they couldn’t do thes themselves, and so I had to do it. I hope that they will understand me. I’m sorry for what happened. They wrote a statement against me, I was in the police, everything is according to the law. I apologize again because I’m ashamed. You shouldn’t upload such footage. I beg you, I’m sorry,” a participant in the war in Ukraine said in the video.
The dead dog was thrown in the trash.
