One of them fell right outside the boarding school. The children were not injured.
ASTRA has recorded 5 more new cases of Russian bombs falling based on data from sources since June 26, 2025. So, 2 FABs fell in the Belgorod region — FAB-250 on Pobedy Street in the village of Bogdanovka in the Novooskolsky district and FAB-500 in the area of an apartment building on Kalinina Street in the village of Bershakovo in the Shebekinsky district. There are no casualties.
Two more Russian aerial bombs fell in the occupied part of the Donetsk region of Ukraine — at an apartment building in Debaltsevo and right at a children’s boarding school in Yasinovataya. The bombs did not explode, they were eliminated, and no one was injured. Another aerial bomb fell in the occupied village of Vysokoe in the Zaporizhia region, ASTRA found out.
ASTRA is aware of at least 100 aerial bombs (93 fabs and 7 UMPB) and three missiles, fallen from Russian aircraft in the Russian Federation and in the occupied territories of Ukraine since the beginning of 2025. In 2024, at least 165 FAB bombs fell on these territories.
To counter the Ukrainian air defense, the Russian army began equipping Soviet FAB bombs with UMPK complexes. After such an update, wings and satellite guidance appear on the FABs, allowing them to launch bombs directly from the territory of Russia. But due to the imperfection of the system, aerial bombs do not always reach their targets and fall on Russian territories. The Russian authorities are trying to hide such facts, and when civilians are among the victims of the fall of Russian bombs, they report that the reasons for them are attacks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
