On August 12 Armed Forses of Ukraine attacked oil pumping station in the Bryansk region with HIMARS missiles


On the evening of August 12, Armed Forces of Ukraine launched about 6 strikes with HIMARS missiles and several UAV strikes at the Unecha oil pumping station in the Bryansk region. According to ASTRA’s sources in the region’s emergency services, two pumping stations that pump oil to the Leningrad Region (Ust-Luga) caught fire as a result.

There was a fire in the repair shop building, the roof of one of the oil tanks also caught fire. The pipeline was damaged during the attack, resulting in a spill of petroleum products and a fire. Seven people were evacuated from the station.

A firefighter was injured during extinguishing, he received severe burns.

Earlier, Ukrainian intelligence confirmed a drone attack on the Unecha oil pumping station. The operation of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine was conducted jointly with units of the Defense Forces.

Unecha LPDS is the largest node of the Druzhba oil pipeline, which provides the Russian military-industrial complex.

Earlier, ASTRA, citing local residents, reported that drones attacked the Unecha linear production and dispatch station in the village of Vysokoe in the Unech district. It’s already been hit by drones On August 6, ASTRA reported.

Subsequently, the defeat of the LPDS “Unecha” was confirmed by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
