Drones damaged two Bashneft plants in Ufa


On September 13, an APU drone attacked the territory of Bashneft-Novoil on Birsky Trakt Street in Ufa, ASTRA sources in the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported. The UAV crashed into the oil pumping machine AVT-1, damaged the gas pipeline and flare collector, a fire broke out.

Another UAV crashed on the territory of Bashneft-UNPZ (Ufa Oil Refinery), hit the AVT-6 machine and damaged two pipelines with water and nitrogen.

The factories are 3 km away from each other.

70 people were evacuated and 284 more were sheltered in special fortifications. There were no casualties.

Novoil and UNPZ are part of Bashneft, which has been owned by Rosneft since 2016. The plants process oil and produce gasoline, diesel fuel, aviation kerosene and petrochemicals.

Earlier, the head of Bashkortostan confirmed an attack to the Bashneft enterprise.

The Ukrainian media also wrote about the attack on the Bashneft-Novoil refinery in Ufa.
