So, on September 17, in the Shebekinsky district of the Belgorod region, Russian bombers dropped 2 FABs at once: in the area of the villages of Repnoye and Starikovo. On September 21, farmers found an aerial bomb crater in a field near the village of Nizhniye Peny in the Rakityansky district of the Belgorod region. The next day, other farmers found an aerial bomb near the village of Bogorodskoye in the Novooskolsky district of the region.
On September 25, the FAB-500 crashed several hundred meters from an apartment building in the village of Razumnoye, Belgorod region. On the same day, an aerial bomb was found in the Russian-occupied village of Osykovo in the Starobeshevsky district of the Donetsk region of Ukraine. On September 27, FAB fell from a Russian plane in the village of Alexandrovka in the Volokonovsky district of the Belgorod region.
On September 28, two more FABs were found in the Belgorod region — in the village of Golofeyevka in the Volokonovsky district and in the village of Antoshkin in the Krasnogvardeysky district. The next day, a Russian aerial bomb landed in the occupied village of Rozovka near Shakhtarsk in the “DPR”. On October 2, another FAB was found in the occupied village of Slavnoye near Shakhtarsk. In all 11 cases, no one was injured.
Thus, the editorial board of ASTRA is aware of at least 125 aerial bombs (118 fabs and 7 UMPB) and three missiles, fallen from Russian aircrafts in the Russian Federation and in the occupied territories of Ukraine since the beginning of 2025. In 2024, at least 165 FAB bombs fell on these territories.
As ASTRA said earlier, To counter Ukrainian air defenses, the Russian army began equipping Soviet FAB bombs with UMPK complexes. After such an update, wings and satellite guidance appear on the fabs, allowing them to launch bombs directly from the territory of the Russian Federation. But due to the imperfection of the system, aerial bombs do not always reach their targets and fall on Russian territories. Russian authorities are trying to hide such facts, and when civilians are among the victims of the fall of Russian bombs, they report that the reasons are in the attacks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
