According to ASTRA sources, as a result of the attack of five drones on the Novokuibyshevsky Oil Refinery on the night of October 19, at least one of the main installations, a tank farm and a substation were damaged at the enterprise.
So, one of the drones crashed into the AVT-11 primary oil distillation unit and caused a fire. One of the 2,000 cubic meter gasoline tanks also caught fire. In addition, a transformer substation was damaged during the attack.
Earlier, Reuters, citing two industry sources, reported, that the plant suspended primary oil refining after the drone attack on October 19.
