Former Wagner PMC soldier attacked former Akhmat unit soldier with a machete and fractured his skull in Barnaul

As ASTRA found out, a repeatedly convicted war participant, 41-year-old Roman Trubetskoy, who attacked an acquaintance with a machete, was detained in Barnaul. On October 16, Trubetskoy’s acquaintance, another war participant, Evgeny Bratchikov, allegedly wrote to his 23-year-old roommate on social media with an offer to meet.

That night, Trubetskoy took a taxi, came to Bratchikov’s house in camouflage, balaclava and with a machete, and beat him unconscious. The reason was allegedly jealousy.

The victim was diagnosed with a fracture of the base of the skull and bones of the facial skeleton, as well as numerous bruises, ASTRA learned.

The man is unconscious. Both the attacker and the victim had previous convictions. According to the leaked data, the injured Bratchikov was in prison for theft, but was pardoned for participating in the “SMO”. Trubetskoy himself was convicted of at least intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm, robbery and death threats. In the photos on social networks, Trubetskoy has a patch of the Wagner PMC. Bratchikov, judging by his photo, served in the Chechen “Akhmat”.

A criminal case was opened on causing serious harm to health committed with the use of weapons.
