A memorial event was held in kindergartens, schools and other educational institutions of Bashkiria in honor of 8000 residents of the region who died in the war. Children laid flowers at the monuments to the participants of the war in Ukraine and drew drawings. The administrations of educational institutions reported on the action on the tag in VK #8000 heroes, ASTRA drew attention.

“Our kindergarten took an active part in the educational lesson and the memorial action “In honor of the fallen Bashkir heroes” — 8000. Pupils of the preparatory group, together with teachers and parents, visited the “Memorial Complex to the Heroes of the SMO” and laid flowers to the fallen heroes,” wrote Kindergarten No. 35 in Sterlitamak.

Several schools in Bashkiria published on their pages in VK cards in honor of Peacemaker Day on November 25. One of the cards states that “Bashkiria has made a huge contribution and suffered heavy losses — over 8,000 lives in 2022-2025.” On the websites of the campaign’s partners, the Institute for Educational Development of the Republic of Belarus and Rospatriotcenter, the ASTRA correspondent could not find the relevant commemorative materials.
