The editorial board of ASTRA managed to contact Anna Polinko, the former wife of the author of the Z-channel “Voevoda broadcasts” Alexei Zemtsov. Polinko denied everything the “military correspondent” said in the alleged posthumous video and expressed confidence that he was alive.

In addition, Anna described her ex-husband as a “liar.” She stated that he systematically appropriated funds from the fees under the pretext of the needs of the front.
“You don’t know anything, he lived in a big way, he rented rooms in Radisson with this money,” said Polinko.
On April 15, Senior Lieutenant Alexey Zemtsov, a pilot of the Ka-52 combat helicopter (call sign “Voevoda”) and the author of the Z-channel “Voevoda broadcasts” (more than 160,000 subscribers), shared a video with subscribers where he announced his retirement.
He explained this step by pressure from the commander-in-chief of the Russian Aerospace Forces, Lieutenant General Vladimir Kravchenko, who, according to Zemtsov, did not like his telegram channel. The “military correspondent” also called for blaming the commander of the Avramenko unit and the military investigator Kantemirov for his suicide, mentioning, among other things, the infidelity of his ex-wife with his own assistant, Zemtsov.
Anna Polinko denied all these facts. According to her, the “Voivoda” was prompted to fake suicide by his own machinations, which his command found out about.:
“He’s alive and would never do anything to himself, he was always just lying.”
Zemtsov’s behavior was explained in a similar way by the authors of the channel “Turned at war”, where he was previously published.
“Zemtsov was removed from our admin panel in the summer of 2023, because of the money he had to give to the Ka-52 crew for the first destroyed Bradley infantry fighting vehicle,” they wrote.
The authors of the Z-channel also described the former comrade as “an alcoholic, a fucking idiot and a ludoman who has nowhere to put brands on.”
The Fighterbomber Z-channel, in turn, writes that “The commander is in touch, alive and well. But who knows what will happen in a second?”)
