The LUKOIL‑Yugnefteprodukt oil depot is on fire in the Sirius federal territory after a UAV attack, according to footage from eyewitnesses geolocated by OSINT analyst.
ASTRA also established that, as a result of the attack, an air defence division and the Rosneft‑Kubannefteprodukt oil depot in the Adler district are on fire near Sochi.
The Lukoil oil depot in Sochi has already been the target of similar drone attacks in the summer of 2025.
At Sochi Airport, after the UAV attack, one of the two aircraft refueling operators — a subsidiary of Rosneft — stopped operating. Currently, only the Lukoil operator can refuel aircraft.
Radio Liberty: between 4 and 6 fuel tanks were destroyed after the Ukrainian attack on the Lukoil‑Yugnefteproduct oil depot on the night of September 4. This conclusion was reached by Radio Liberty journalist Mark Krutov based on an analysis of Planet satellite images. He, like ASTRA earlier, stated that the protective nets did not save the oil depot from the UAV attack.
