38-year-old contractor Denis Domenko received a category “B” with a red seal. In June, a man without a 27 mm skull was wounded and received an order from the Russian Defense Ministry to leave the service, but the command of military unit 42600 does not let him go home, promising to fire him “tomorrow” day after day.

“I received two serious wounds. I went through the medical commission with the help of a lawyer and you — you were making a publication that time, so they let me make a publication. Now I have six fragments in my brain, category “B”, an order, but they do not exclude it. It feels like they’re stupidly waiting for me to become paralyzed or have a stroke. I have headaches every day. The more I stay here, the stronger they get,” says Denis.
According to him, the command of the military unit promised dismissal on the first, second, and third of September, but each time the commanders say that there are no additional documents from the 5th army, Domenko sent a report on expulsion from the staff on August 12. According to the soldier’s lawyer, the man should have been fired in three days.

In addition, the military investigative Committee decided to terminate the criminal case against Domenko due to the lack of corpus delicti. In November 2025, the command declared the man in custody (unauthorized abandonment of the unit) at the moment when Domenko was in the hospital after being wounded.
