Convicted participant in the war with Ukraine stole jacket with a purse from woman in Chita

Earlier, the young man had already stolen a car and stolen a TV and a goat from neighbors, and later enlisted in the war.

As ASTRA found out, a resident of Chita lost her jacket and purse with 8 thousand rubles in cash in the cafe “One Thousand and One Nights” on Komsomolskaya Street. The woman said that her clothes were stolen by an unknown person. Later, 24-year-old Dmitry Gurulev, who returned from the war, was detained on suspicion of theft.

As ASTRA found out, after studying the databases merged into the network, Gurulev had previously been repeatedly involved in thefts in his native village of Ureysk. So, back in 2015, as a teenager, he stole a TV set from his neighbors. In 2019, a young man stole a car from a neighbor, and a year later he stole a goat. According to the databases, in 2023 Dmitry was in pre-trial detention center-1 in Chita, from where, apparently, he enlisted in the war at the same time.

His father, Alexei, is also a participant in the war in Ukraine, follows from his son’s publications on social networks. In October 2024, he came from the war on vacation to his native village of Ureysk in the Trans-Baikal Territory, ASTRA noticed.
